GNO-ABO Charitable and Educational Foundation

History

For Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated's® Alpha Beta Omega Chapter to enhance and expand its charitable reach, the chapter formally established the GNO-ABO Charitable and Educational Foundation, Inc. on October 1, 2001. Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Conchetta White Fulton, who served as the Foundation's Founding President, this 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was created to support and fund scholarships, community programs, and educational initiatives. The Foundation also hosts it signature fundraiser, the Jazzy Jeans Scholarship Brunch™️, which has become on of the city of New Orleans' most anticipated events. Proceeds from thr brunch help fund scholarships, chapter programming, and long-term philanthropic goals.
